Scholarship

Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me: I lift my lamp beside the golden door.“
Do you want to study in the United States, get to know the American Way of Life, and foster German-American friendship?
As a member of the Federation of German-American Clubs (FGAC), we are able to nominate qualified students for a one-year exchange program to the United States. From Delaware to Texas, Washington to Florida, the VDAC facilitates academic exchange opportunities between their partner universities.
The scholarships range from full tuition waivers to room and board and are worth up to $30,000. In order to qualify for a scholarship, interested students have to be nominated by their local German-American club. The Young Transatlantic Initiative is responsible for applications from students matriculated in the so-called “New German Länder.”

The Deadline is July 15, 2015.
